Before arrival
Make sure you leave in plenty of time to find me. My address is 17 Stonewall Terrace, Frome Somerset, BA11 5AX.
I will send you a picture via phone or WhatsApp, or I can describe it over the phone, its pretty straight forward to find.
Please do not bring children, pets or other party members with you to your appointment as I can't cater for space for them, just bring yourself
On arrival
Please park at the back garage entrance and park close to my car. In the daytime there will be plenty of off road parking, in the evening I recommend you park on Feltham Drive and walk down to my house. We don't want to upset the neighbours.
Come to my garden back gate, my house number is on the gate. Come through the gate and down the steps to my back door where I will greet you.
If there is a client with me I may ask you to wait outside (weather permitting) or just inside my kitchen, due to limited amount of space
I am a non smoker and would be very grateful if you would refrain from smoking in the room whilst I am there. If you are a smoker, there is garden seating for you to sit/stand.
Travel Costs
Hair or beauty treatments in Frome are free of charge. From my house to another house outside of Frome Somerset,
30 minutes:- £10
45 minutes: £15
60 minutes or more:- £30+
This is to cover my time travelling, not my fuel costs.
Cancellation Policy
I value your custom and I ask that you respect my business policy.
I require a minimum of 48 hours notice should you need cancel or reschedule your appointment, otherwise you will be charged up to the full amount of the booked appointment.
This also applies the other way, if for some reason I need to cancel or change your appointment I will let you know as soon as i possibly can.
Colour appointment prep
Please make sure you wash your hair the night before your appointment. Colour needs to be applied onto clean hair for an even colour result. This creates a better canvas for me to work on.
Bridal booking
Please contact me as soon as you can with your date, location, how many party members that want there hair done. I will schedule a phone call with you as soon as we can both fit it in. Once we have had our initial consultation and are both happy to proceed, I will send you a conformation email with everything we have discussed, including my bank details details.
Your £50.00 booking fee is required within 7 days or our chat to keep your date secure.
This fee will come off your final amount should you wish to book with me.
The final amount is due to be paid the day before your wedding day or on the day.

If you require more than one trial, same prices do apply to the first one.
Travel costs:
Weddings in Frome are free of charge. From my home location in Frome, Somerset to your home or venue cost will be as follows:-

Bridal cancellation & refunds
If you need to cancel your wedding for any reason, the deposit is fully refundable ONLY up until 6 weeks before the wedding.
If for any reason you have had your trial and you choose not to book, then the £50.00 paid covers the cost of your trial and my travel time. There will be no refund.
If you need to cancel I do need a minimum of 48 hours notice. If less Than 48 hours, then you may loose your deposit.
Feed in braids prep
Minimum aged for having braids is 5 years
Please make sure you wash your hair the night before your appointment. This makes it easier for me to braid on clean hair and so you get the most out of your braids
Do not apply any products on the hair the night before. Ill be adding all the vital products on your hair on the day
If you have curly hair please straightening your hair before you attend your appointment. Straightening is NOT INCLUDED in the price
Feed in braids aftercare
Before bedtime, make sure you wrap your braids up in either a silk bonnet or a pair of tights.
In the morning, take off your silk bonnet or tights and spray your natural hair with a water spray either side of the braids, this will reactivate the product in your hair. Use a pintail comb to tidy up any loose strays of hair, then let it dry. Repeat this routine everyday.
Payments/deposits
I except cash only.
Colour clients are required to pay a deposit of £30.00 to secure there appointment. This will be deducted off the service booked on the day. This £30.00 paid covers the costs of product and my travel time. There will be no refund.
Feed in braids deposit required is £10.00 to secure your appointment. This will then be deducted off the service booked on the day. This covers the cost of the synthetic hair purchased.
Trends By Wend reserves the right to request any payment upfront for any services or products.
Complaints
In the unlikely event that you are not 100% satisfied with a service supplied by Trends By Wend please call Wendy within 7 days of having the service done to advise of any issues you may have. Trends By Wend will rectify this promptly, either by redoing the service free of charge or giving you a full refund. No other compensation will be offered.
Photography
The client agrees that Trends By Wend may use any photography for publicity purposes which include but are not limited to Trends By Wend's social media pages and website.
This includes photos taken by Trends By Wend (possibly before and after photos) and photos taken by your professional photographer.
